D'Addario EPN21 Pure Nickel Electric Guitar Strings, Jazz Light, 12-52

The EPN21 deck combines the playability of D'Addario's most popular Jazz Light deck with a warmer, more vintage sound. D'Addario XL pure nickel strings take us back to the 1950s, a time when nickel was the primary material used in electric guitar strings. 

They were abandoned in favor of nickel-plated steel strings in the 1960s because guitarists were looking for more magnetism and a brighter sound. These pure nickel strings allow for the warmer, richer tones traditionally heard in blues, classic rock, rockabilly, and many other styles.
