D'Addario EPN115 Pure Nickel Electric Guitar Strings, Blues/Jazz Rock, 11-48

The EPN115 set combines the playability of D'Addario's popular Medium set with a warmer, more "vintage" sound. D'Addario XL pure nickel strings take us back to the 1950s, when nickel was the primary alloy used in the manufacture of electric guitar strings. 

Pure nickel strings would later (during the 1960s) be superseded by nickel-plated steel strings, as guitarists sought a brighter sound and improved string magnetism. Pure nickel strings bring back the richer, warmer tones found in traditional blues, classic rock, rockabilly, and many other styles.
